Mohamed El Shenawy, our Captain, expressed his happiness after obtaining the third-place in the FIFA Club World Cup and securing the bronze medal after the victory against Urawa Reds. 

“We were under a lot of pressure lately, and our goal was to reach the final but we were not lucky after wasting many chances against Fluminense in thesemi-finals, and that is why the most important thing was to reach the podium during the third-place match”.

“I also want to thank the fans for their presence and support during the tournament, and we thank Saudi Arabia, and the people here for their generous hospitality. The atmosphere of the tournament was wonderful”.
